Change the company name in a Tally PDF
Rebrand a proposal, quote or letter for a new client or after a name change. This works on the PDF Tally exported, so you do not need the original file.
How to do it
- 1.Open the PDF exported from Tally in MythosPDF.
- 2.Replace the company name in each place it appears.
- 3.Swap the logo too if needed, then Export PDF.
How Tally writes PDFs
- • Vouchers and invoices are printed to PDF with standard fonts.
- • Amounts are in right aligned columns, often with the rupee symbol.
What that means when you change the company name
- • Amounts keep their alignment. If the font lacks ₹, you choose whether to use a font that has it.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Names in headings keep the heading's size and weight.
- • Compare the result with the original to make sure no old name is left.
