Fix a typo in a user manual PDF
Manuals are long and change in small ways: a menu name, a version number, a support email. Fix those in the PDF and split the manual into chapters if people need only part of it. A single wrong letter is the most common reason to edit a PDF. Fixing it should change that letter and nothing else.

What people change in a user manual
- • Version and date on the cover
- • Step instructions
- • Menu and button names
- • Support contact details
- • Screenshots
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Only the words you touch are rewritten. The rest of the line keeps its exact position and spacing.
- • If the correct letter was never used anywhere in the file, MythosPDF loads the complete font so the letter matches.
Swap a screenshot
Remove an outdated screenshot and add the new one in its place.
Chapters as files
Use Split PDF with custom ranges to create one file per chapter.
Questions people ask
+Will fixing one letter move the rest of the paragraph?
Only if the word gets wider or narrower. Then the words after it on that line shift by exactly the difference, and nothing else moves.
+Can I update the table of contents?
Yes, it's text. Update the page numbers if chapters moved.
