Edit a FlowCV form PDF

Many forms are just drawn boxes, not fillable fields. Type into their empty cells in the form's own font, sign, and send it back without printing. If it was made in FlowCV, you can edit the PDF itself. MythosPDF recognises drawn bullets and icon rows, so edits keep bullets and icons in place.

What people change in a form

  • • Empty boxes and table cells
  • • Placeholder text
  • • Dates
  • • Signature

How FlowCV writes PDFs

  • • Resumes are rendered by a browser engine and embedded as Type3 or subset fonts.
  • • Bullets are sometimes drawn as shapes with a tiny text copy for screen readers.
  • • Contact rows mix icons and text.

Drawn boxes, not fields

MythosPDF finds empty cells in table like layouts and lets you type into them.

Then sign

Press Sign to add your signature where the form asks for it.

Questions people ask

+What about fillable forms?

Fillable fields work best in a standard PDF reader; this editor fills drawn boxes and changes existing text.

+Can I fill a scanned form?

Not yet. On a scan you can replace printed words, but typing into empty boxes is not available.
