Form XObject

A reusable group of drawing instructions that can be placed on a page, often for headers, logos or repeated elements.

Instead of repeating the same drawing on every page, a PDF can define it once as a Form XObject and draw it many times.

Text inside a Form XObject is text too, but editing it affects every place the XObject is used unless it's copied first.
