How to change a phone number or email in a PDF
Contact details go stale fast. Changing them is a short edit, but emails and websites are often links too. Update the visible text and then the link target, so clicking it goes to the right place.
Step by step
- 1Open the PDF in MythosPDF by dropping it on the home page. No account is needed.
- 2Click the phone number or email address and type the new one.
- 3If the text is a link, select it and use the Link button in the editing bar to update where it points.
- 4Press Enter to save.
- 5Press Export PDF in the top bar to download the edited file.

- ✓For a mailto link, the target should start with mailto: followed by the address.
- ✓For phone numbers, keep the same spacing style as the rest of the document.

No, the text and the link target are separate. Change both: the text by typing, the target with the Link button.
