How to edit a PDF exported from Canva
Canva PDFs embed the fonts used in the design, so small edits can be made directly in the PDF. This helps when the design belongs to someone else's account, the template was deleted, or you only have the exported file.
Step by step
- 1Open the PDF in MythosPDF by dropping it on the home page. No account is needed.
- 2Click the text to change, like a date, price or name.
- 3Type the new text and press Enter.
- 4Press Export PDF in the top bar to download the edited file.

- ✓Canva embeds only the characters the design used. If a new letter isn't available, you'll be told rather than seeing a substitute font.
- ✓Text that Canva turned into a picture (some effects and curved text) can't be edited as text.
