Typing Kannada

The editor has a built in Kannada keyboard: press the अ/A button while editing and type Kannada letters by clicking, next to your normal keyboard. Characters to check after editing: ಕ್ಷ, ಜ್ಞ.

Which font new Kannada text uses

First the font your PDF already uses for Kannada, even when only a few of its letters are embedded: MythosPDF loads the complete font and sets new letters in it. If the PDF has no Kannada font at all, it asks before adding an open Noto font for those letters, and tells you it did. Kannada is a shaped script, so each word is shaped with the full font before it is written, and the real letters are stored so the text stays searchable.

Questions people ask

+Can I change food photos?

Yes. Remove the old image, add a new one and resize it into place.

+Will my printer accept the file?

Yes. It's the same PDF with only your changes.

+Can I write parts of the restaurant menu in Kannada and parts in English?

Yes. Each language is set in the font the PDF uses for it, so a bilingual restaurant menu keeps both fonts.
