Add a table row in a Microsoft Excel printout
Insert a row above or below any row of a table, with borders that match. This works on the PDF Microsoft Excel printed, even when its letters are only drawn shapes.

How to do it
- 1.Drop your Microsoft Print to PDF file into MythosPDF. Drawn letters are turned back into text in a few seconds.
- 2.Click a cell in the row next to where you want the new one.
- 3.Choose Above or Below, fill in the cells, then Export PDF.
How Microsoft Excel prints
- • Each print area becomes one or more pages, with cell text placed on the page.
- • Numbers stay right aligned in their cells.
- • Newer Excel uses Aptos Narrow; older sheets use Calibri 11.
What that means when you add a table row
- • Printed tables are lines drawn around text. After recovery, rows and cells are found from those lines and the recovered words.
- • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Borders, shading and dividers of the new row copy the table's own.
- • Rows below move down to make space; a full page continues on the next.
Questions people ask
+Are totals updated?
No. A PDF does not calculate. Update totals yourself.
+Why can't I select text in my Microsoft Print to PDF file?
The driver often draws every letter as a shape instead of writing text. MythosPDF reads those shapes and turns them back into real text before you edit.
+Is it better to reprint from Microsoft Excel?
If you still have the Microsoft Excel file and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already have, editing it is faster.
