Change a word in printed Courier New text
Swap one word for another straight in the PDF, in the same font, size and colour as the words around it. In a Microsoft Print to PDF file, Courier New letters are often drawn shapes. MythosPDF turns them back into Courier New text before you edit.

How to do it

- 2.Select the word and type the new one.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
New letters in Courier New
- • Courier New is usually recognised automatically: MythosPDF keeps Liberation Mono, the open font with identical letter widths, on its servers and matches the printed shapes against it.
- • Letters you type that the printout never used are set in Liberation Mono, so they match Courier New in width.
- • Letters that are already on the page are reused exactly as printed.
What that means when you change a word
- • Letters you type that already appear in the printout, in the same font, are copied from its own letter shapes, so they print identically.
- • A letter the printout never used comes from the identified typeface. For fonts that are not openly available, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font.
- • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.

Questions people ask
+Can I replace the same word everywhere?
Edit each place where it appears. Each edit keeps its own line's layout.
+Will the page look different after recovery?
No. The rebuilt text uses the document's own letter outlines, and every page is compared with the original before you edit.
