How to do it
- 1.Drop your Microsoft Print to PDF file into MythosPDF. Drawn letters are turned back into text in a few seconds.
- 2.Edit the address. Use Shift+Enter to start a new line inside the block.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
How Visual Studio Code prints
- • The Windows default editor font is Consolas, falling back to Courier New.
- • Code prints in one monospaced font where every letter has the same width.
- • Line numbers print only when the print extension adds them.
What that means when you change an address
- • Letters you type that already appear in the printout, in the same font, are copied from its own letter shapes, so they print identically.
- • A letter the printout never used comes from the identified typeface. For fonts that are not openly available, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font.
- • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Shift+Enter keeps the lines in one address block, with the block's own line spacing.
- • Adding a line pushes the content below down by one line.
