How to do it

How Microsoft Edge prints
- • Edge can add the date, page title, web address and page numbers as a header and footer.
- • Web pages often ask for Segoe UI on Windows, and fall back to Arial or Times New Roman.
- • Background colours and images print only when Background graphics is ticked.
What that means when you edit a heading
- • Letters you type that already appear in the printout, in the same font, are copied from its own letter shapes, so they print identically.
- • A letter the printout never used comes from the identified typeface. For fonts that are not openly available, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font.
- • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Headings keep their alignment: centred headings stay centred.
- • A heading that grows onto two lines pushes the section down.
