Edit a link in printed Arial text
Add a clickable link to text in a PDF, change where it points, or remove it. In a Microsoft Print to PDF file, Arial letters are often drawn shapes. MythosPDF turns them back into Arial text before you edit.

How to do it
- 1.Drop your Microsoft Print to PDF file into MythosPDF. Drawn letters are turned back into text in a few seconds.
- 2.Select the words and press ⌘K or Ctrl+K.
- 3.Paste the web address, email or phone link and press Apply, then Export PDF.
New letters in Arial
- • Arial is usually recognised automatically: MythosPDF keeps Liberation Sans, the open font with identical letter widths, on its servers and matches the printed shapes against it.
- • Letters you type that the printout never used are set in Liberation Sans, so they match Arial in width.
- • Letters that are already on the page are reused exactly as printed.
What that means when you edit a link
- • Printed pages carry no links. After recovery you can add one to any text with Ctrl+K.
- • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.
Open fonts closest to Arial, measured
- • Arimo Regular: identical letter widths
- • Arimo Medium: very close widths
- • Arimo SemiBold: similar widths
- • Archivo Light: similar widths
Questions people ask
+Can I remove a link but keep the text?
Yes. Select the linked text and use Remove link.
+Will the page look different after recovery?
No. The rebuilt text uses the document's own letter outlines, and every page is compared with the original before you edit.
