How Microsoft PowerPoint prints

  • • Each printed slide or handout frame becomes a page.
  • • Theme fonts are usually Aptos or Calibri with a light heading font.
  • • Text boxes print independently of each other.

What that means when you edit a link

  • • Printed pages carry no links. After recovery you can add one to any text with Ctrl+K.
  • • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • Web addresses, email addresses (mailto) and phone numbers (tel) are accepted.
  • • New links are shown in blue and underlined, as readers expect.

Questions people ask

+Can I remove a link but keep the text?

Yes. Select the linked text and use Remove link.

+Why can't I select text in my Microsoft Print to PDF file?

The driver often draws every letter as a shape instead of writing text. MythosPDF reads those shapes and turns them back into real text before you edit.

+Is it better to reprint from Microsoft PowerPoint?

If you still have the Microsoft PowerPoint file and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already have, editing it is faster.
