How to do it
- 1.Drop your Microsoft Print to PDF file into MythosPDF. Drawn letters are turned back into text in a few seconds.
- 2.Edit the footer on each page where it appears.
- 3.Export PDF.
How Notepad prints
- • Notepad prints plain text in one font for the whole page.
- • Recent Windows versions use Consolas by default; older ones used Lucida Console.
- • Page Setup can add a header and footer, such as the file name and page number, which print as text like the rest.
What that means when you edit the footer
- • Letters you type that already appear in the printout, in the same font, are copied from its own letter shapes, so they print identically.
- • A letter the printout never used comes from the identified typeface. For fonts that are not openly available, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font.
- • After export, the recovered text can be selected, copied and searched, which the printout could not do.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Footers are separate text on every page. Edit each page's copy.
- • Footer text never moves into the body when you edit it.
