Edit Aptos text in a Microsoft Outlook printout
The Microsoft 365 default font since 2023, in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Microsoft Outlook printouts saved with Microsoft Print to PDF often hold it as drawn shapes. MythosPDF turns them back into text in the same look.

How Microsoft Outlook prints
- • A printed email starts with a header block: From, Sent, To and Subject.
- • Newer Outlook writes in Aptos; older messages use Calibri.
- • Replies quoted below keep the fonts they were written in.
New letters in Aptos
- • Letters that are already on the page are reused exactly as printed, in the printout's own shapes.
- • Aptos is not an open font. For a letter the printout never used, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font and tells you which one.
Questions people ask
+Why can't I select text in my Microsoft Print to PDF file?
The driver often draws every letter as a shape instead of writing text. MythosPDF reads those shapes and turns them back into real text before you edit.
+Will the page look different after recovery?
No. The rebuilt text uses the document's own letter outlines, and every page is compared with the original before you edit.
