How SwiftScan scans
- • Phone scanners photograph the page, straighten and crop it, and save the image into a PDF.
- • Photos carry perspective, uneven light and JPEG compression, and some apps add a hidden OCR text layer.
- • Camera foreshortening is fitted as a horizontal scale on each line, and the paper grain around the word is kept, so the new word sits in the photo like the old one.
