How to do it

  1. 1.Open the PDF exported from LibreOffice in MythosPDF.
  2. 2.Select the date and type the new one in the same format.
  3. 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.

How LibreOffice writes PDFs

  • • Export embeds subset fonts, often Liberation or DejaVu.
  • • Paragraphs are written line by line.

What that means when you change the date

  • • LibreOffice's default fonts are open, and Liberation fonts have the same widths as Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, so edits match exactly.

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • Dates in table cells stay aligned with the rest of their column.
  • • Digits already used in the document are reused exactly; any new ones come from the same font.

Questions people ask

+Can I change the date format?

Yes. Type it however you like, for example 5 March 2026 instead of 05/03/2026.

+Is it better to edit in LibreOffice?

If you have the original LibreOffice file and a lot to change, yes. For quick changes to the PDF itself, editing the PDF is faster and keeps it exactly as sent.
