Change a website address in a brochure PDF
Brochures are tightly designed, and one shifted line shows. Editing in place changes the words you click and leaves every panel, image and colour as it was. Update the web address printed on a brochure, flyer or letterhead, and the link behind it.

What people change in a brochure
- • Headlines and offers
- • Dates and event details
- • Phone numbers, emails and web addresses
- • Product photos
- • Legal small print
What happens to the rest of the page
- • The printed text and the clickable link are separate. Update both.
- • Addresses are set in the same font as before.
Keep lengths similar
In tight panels, keep new text about as long as the old text so it doesn't push content into the fold.
Text with effects
Curved text, outlines and shadows are often exported as graphics and can't be edited as text.
Questions people ask
+Does the printed address have to match the link?
It should. Readers of a printed copy only see the text.
+Does it work for tri fold brochures?
Yes. Each panel's text is edited where it sits.
