Edit a bullet point in a DocuSign PDF

Reword a bullet and keep its marker, indent and hanging wrap. This works on the PDF DocuSign exported, so you do not need the original file.

How to do it

  1. 1.Open the PDF exported from DocuSign in MythosPDF.
  2. 2.Edit the bullet's text.
  3. 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.

How DocuSign writes PDFs

  • • Completed envelopes carry signatures and a certificate.
  • • Editing a completed envelope breaks its validity.

What that means when you edit a bullet point

  • • Edit agreements before they are sent for signature. A completed, signed envelope should not be edited.

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • Wrapped lines stay aligned under the bullet's text, not under the marker.
  • • The bullet marker itself is kept exactly as drawn.

Questions people ask

+Can I add a new bullet?

Yes. Click a bullet and press Add below to start a new one in the same style.

+Is it better to edit in DocuSign?

If you have the original DocuSign file and a lot to change, yes. For quick changes to the PDF itself, editing the PDF is faster and keeps it exactly as sent.
