How to do it
- 1.Open the PDF exported from Overleaf in MythosPDF.
- 2.Edit the header text on each page.
- 3.Export PDF.
How Overleaf writes PDFs
- • Overleaf compiles LaTeX, so PDFs use Type1 fonts such as Computer Modern or Latin Modern.
- • Ligatures such as fi and fl are single glyphs.
What that means when you edit the header
- • Small fixes in text, references and captions can be made in the PDF. Larger changes are cleaner in the Overleaf source.
- • Overleaf often uses fonts that are not freely available. Letters already in the PDF are reused exactly; for a letter it never used, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font and tells you which one.

- • Headers keep their position and size.
- • Each page's header is edited separately.
