Fix a typo in a catalog PDF

Catalogs are big and change often. Update prices and descriptions in place, swap product photos, and compress the result for email. A single wrong letter is the most common reason to edit a PDF. Fixing it should change that letter and nothing else.

  3. 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.

What people change in a catalog

  • • Prices
  • • Product names and codes
  • • Product photos
  • • Availability notes
  • • Order contact details

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • Only the words you touch are rewritten. The rest of the line keeps its exact position and spacing.
  • • If the correct letter was never used anywhere in the file, MythosPDF loads the complete font so the letter matches.

Big files

Catalogs full of photos are large. Balanced compression reduces them without touching the text.

Questions people ask

+Will fixing one letter move the rest of the paragraph?

Only if the word gets wider or narrower. Then the words after it on that line shift by exactly the difference, and nothing else moves.

+Can I update many prices?

Edit each one; use Compare at the end to review them all.
