Edit an Apple Pages business proposal PDF
Good proposals are reused and tailored. Swap the client's name and logo, adjust the scope, update the pricing table and dates, and send a document that looks designed for them. If it was made in Apple Pages, you can edit the PDF itself. MythosPDF decodes custom character codes through the font's own text map and handles spaces written as positioning. Apple system fonts are not open, so new letters use what the PDF contains, or a close open font with your permission.
How to do it
- 1.Open the business proposal PDF exported from Apple Pages in MythosPDF.
- 2.Click the text you want to change and type.
- 3.Press Enter to save, then Export PDF.
What people change in a business proposal
- • Client name and logo on the cover
- • Scope of work and deliverables
- • Pricing table rows and totals
- • Timeline dates
- • Validity date and contact person
How Apple Pages writes PDFs
- • Export uses the macOS PDF engine with subset fonts.
- • Some subsets use custom character codes described only by their text map.
- • Word spaces are sometimes positioning rather than space characters.
Pricing tables that stay aligned
Amounts in right aligned columns grow to the left, so totals still line up after you change a figure. Add or delete rows for optional extras.
Swap the logo cleanly
Remove the previous client's logo and add the new one, then drag and resize it into the same spot.
Questions people ask
+Can I add a new section?
You can add paragraphs and bullets within existing sections. Large new sections are easier in the original design file.
+Can the client sign the proposal?
Yes. They can open it in MythosPDF and use Sign.
