Edit a LibreOffice business proposal PDF
Good proposals are reused and tailored. Swap the client's name and logo, adjust the scope, update the pricing table and dates, and send a document that looks designed for them. If it was made in LibreOffice, you can edit the PDF itself. LibreOffice's default fonts are open, and Liberation fonts have the same widths as Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, so edits match exactly.
How to do it
- 1.Open the business proposal PDF exported from LibreOffice in MythosPDF.
- 2.Click the text you want to change and type.
- 3.Press Enter to save, then Export PDF.
What people change in a business proposal
- • Client name and logo on the cover
- • Scope of work and deliverables
- • Pricing table rows and totals
- • Timeline dates
- • Validity date and contact person
How LibreOffice writes PDFs
- • Export embeds subset fonts, often Liberation or DejaVu.
- • Paragraphs are written line by line.
Pricing tables that stay aligned
Amounts in right aligned columns grow to the left, so totals still line up after you change a figure. Add or delete rows for optional extras.
Swap the logo cleanly
Remove the previous client's logo and add the new one, then drag and resize it into the same spot.
Questions people ask
+Can I add a new section?
You can add paragraphs and bullets within existing sections. Large new sections are easier in the original design file.
+Can the client sign the proposal?
Yes. They can open it in MythosPDF and use Sign.
