Rewrite a paragraph in a Figma PDF

Replace a whole paragraph and keep the page design: the new text reflows in the paragraph's own font and width. This works on the PDF Figma exported, so you do not need the original file.

How to do it

  1. 1.Open the PDF exported from Figma in MythosPDF.
  2. 2.Select all the text of the paragraph and type or paste the new version.
  3. 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.

How Figma writes PDFs

  • • Exports embed subset fonts, often Google Fonts.
  • • Text layers are placed independently.

What that means when you rewrite a paragraph

  • • Most Figma projects use open fonts, so new letters match exactly.

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • Pasted text arrives as plain text, so it takes the paragraph's style instead of the clipboard's.
  • • Shorter text pulls the content below up; longer text pushes it down.

Questions people ask

+Can I paste text from Word?

Yes. It is pasted as plain text and set in the paragraph's own font.

+Is it better to edit in Figma?

If you have the original Figma file and a lot to change, yes. For quick changes to the PDF itself, editing the PDF is faster and keeps it exactly as sent.
