Zero mutation editing
Editing a PDF so that everything you didn't change stays exactly as it was in the original file.
Many editors rebuild or rerender the page on export, which can change fonts, compression and positions of things you never touched.
Zero mutation editing treats the original file as immutable and changes only the objects an edit requires.
