How to change a name in a PDF
Names show up in headings, signature blocks and the body of a letter, often in different sizes. Each is its own line of text, so you change each one where it appears, and each keeps its own font and size.
Step by step
- 1Open the PDF in MythosPDF by dropping it on the home page. No account is needed.
- 2Click the first place the name appears, usually the heading or letterhead.
- 3Replace the name and press Enter.
- 4Repeat for every other place the name appears, including footers and signature blocks.
- 5Press Export PDF in the top bar to download the edited file.

- ✓Large display names in headings often use a special font with few characters embedded. If a letter is missing, you'll be told; try again with the letters the heading already contains, or use the same name spelling as elsewhere.
- ✓Only change names on documents you're entitled to change, like your own templates, drafts and letters.

Not yet. Each occurrence is edited where it is, which also lets you check each one in context.
+The name is part of a logo. Can I change it?
If the logo is an image, the name is part of the picture and can't be edited as text. You can remove the image and add a new one.
