How to fix a typo in a PDF
The document is exported, maybe already sent, and there it is: a misspelled word. You don't need the Word or Canva file to fix it. Click the word in the PDF, correct it and download the same file with one word changed.
Step by step
- 1Open the PDF in MythosPDF by dropping it on the home page. No account is needed.
- 2Scroll to the typo and click the line it's on.
- 3Place the cursor in the word and correct it, just like in a word processor.
- 4Press Enter to save. If the corrected word is longer, the line rewraps and only the text below moves.
- 5Press Export PDF in the top bar to download the edited file.

- ✓Press ⌘Z or Ctrl Z to undo a change you didn't mean.

Only if the corrected word needs more room than the line has. Then the paragraph rewraps and the content below moves down by the exact extra space. Everything above and beside stays put.
+Does the corrected word keep bold or italic?
Yes. The edit keeps the style of the text you are typing into.
