How to delete text from a PDF
Many editors 'delete' text by painting a white rectangle over it; the words are still in the file and anyone can copy them out. MythosPDF removes the text itself and pulls the content below up, so there's no hole and nothing hidden.
Step by step
- 1Open the PDF in MythosPDF by dropping it on the home page. No account is needed.
- 2Click the paragraph or bullet you want to change.
- 3Select the words to remove and press Delete, or clear the whole block to remove it.
- 4Press Enter. The following content moves up to close the gap.
- 5Press Export PDF in the top bar to download the edited file.

No. The text drawing instructions are removed from the page, not covered.
+Is this the same as redaction?
Deleting text removes it. For legal redaction you may also need to remove it from images and metadata, and follow your organisation's rules.
