How to shorten a resume to one page
A page and a bit is the worst length: the second page holds three lines nobody reads. Win back the space with a few targeted edits. Each deleted line pulls the rest of the page up, so you see the effect immediately.
Step by step
- 1Open the PDF in MythosPDF by dropping it on the home page. No account is needed.
- 2Delete the weakest bullets in older roles. Clear a bullet's text and save to remove it.
- 3Find bullets that wrap onto a second line by a word or two, and trim them so they fit on one line.
- 4Tighten line spacing a little on long lists with Alignment and line spacing.
- 5Check that the continuation page is gone, then press Export PDF.
