Typing Russian

Which font new Russian text uses

First the font your PDF already uses for Russian, even when only a few of its letters are embedded: MythosPDF loads the complete font and sets new letters in it. If the PDF has no Cyrillic font at all, it asks before adding an open Noto font for those letters, and tells you it did.

Questions people ask

+Can I sign my cover letter?

Yes. Press Sign in the editor and place your signature above your typed name.

+Will applicant tracking systems read it?

Yes. Edited text is real text, just like the rest of the letter.

+Can I write parts of the cover letter in Russian and parts in English?

Yes. Each language is set in the font the PDF uses for it, so a bilingual cover letter keeps both fonts.
