LibreOffice resume: change your name on your resume
Update your name after marriage, or use the name you go by. This works on the PDF LibreOffice exported. Text edits in place in the embedded fonts, and open default fonts mean new letters match exactly.

How to do it
- 1.Drop the resume PDF from LibreOffice into MythosPDF.
- 2.Select your name and type it as you want it.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
How LibreOffice writes resume PDFs
- • Export embeds subset TrueType fonts.
- • Paragraphs are written line by line.
What happens to the rest of your resume
- • The name keeps its size, weight and colour.
- • A centred name stays centred.
Questions people ask
+What if my new name uses letters the font never had?
The complete font is loaded; for fonts that are not open, you are asked before a close open font is used.
+Is it better to edit in LibreOffice?
If you still have the LibreOffice version and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already sent, editing the PDF is faster.
