- 3.Type the line and press Enter, then Export PDF.
How scanner apps writes PDFs
- • Scans are images of the page, sometimes with a hidden text layer from OCR.
- • The visible text is pixels, not letters.
What that means when you add a line of text
- • Scanned pages are pictures of text. Use OCR PDF to make them searchable; typing into a scan is a separate, image based process.
- • scanner apps often uses fonts that are not freely available. Letters already in the PDF are reused exactly; for a letter it never used, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font and tells you which one.
