How to do it
- 1.Open the PDF exported from LibreOffice in MythosPDF.
- 2.Type the new heading.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
How LibreOffice writes PDFs
- • Export embeds subset fonts, often Liberation or DejaVu.
- • Paragraphs are written line by line.
What that means when you edit a heading
- • LibreOffice's default fonts are open, and Liberation fonts have the same widths as Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, so edits match exactly.
- • Because LibreOffice uses open fonts, any letter you type is set in the exact same font, even if the PDF never contained it.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Headings keep their alignment: centred headings stay centred.
- • A heading that grows onto two lines pushes the section down.
