Fix a typo in a project report PDF

Reports are exported, reviewed, and corrected. Fix a figure, update a status or reword a finding in the PDF without regenerating it. A single wrong letter is the most common reason to edit a PDF. Fixing it should change that letter and nothing else.

What people change in a project report

  • • Figures in tables
  • • Status and dates
  • • Wording of findings
  • • Names in the distribution list
  • • Page numbers and cover details

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • Only the words you touch are rewritten. The rest of the line keeps its exact position and spacing.
  • • If the correct letter was never used anywhere in the file, MythosPDF loads the complete font so the letter matches.

Tables and numbers

Change values cell by cell; right aligned numbers stay aligned. Totals are not recalculated, so update them too.

Charts are drawings

Charts are vector drawings or images, not live data. To change a chart, replace its image.

Questions people ask

+Will fixing one letter move the rest of the paragraph?

Only if the word gets wider or narrower. Then the words after it on that line shift by exactly the difference, and nothing else moves.

+Can I add page numbers?

Yes, with Add page numbers after editing.
