Edit a LibreOffice price list PDF
Price lists are designed once and updated often. Change prices and product lines directly in the PDF so the design stays exactly as it was. If it was made in LibreOffice, you can edit the PDF itself. LibreOffice's default fonts are open, and Liberation fonts have the same widths as Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, so edits match exactly.
How to do it
- 1.Open the price list PDF exported from LibreOffice in MythosPDF.
- 2.Click the text you want to change and type.
- 3.Press Enter to save, then Export PDF.
What people change in a price list
- • Prices and currency amounts
- • Product or service names
- • Descriptions and pack sizes
- • Effective date
- • Contact details
How LibreOffice writes PDFs
- • Export embeds subset fonts, often Liberation or DejaVu.
- • Paragraphs are written line by line.
Columns stay straight
Right aligned prices grow leftwards from their column edge, so longer numbers don't break the column.
Review every change
Compare the new list with the old one to confirm every price you intended to change, and nothing else.
