How to edit a PDF on a Mac without Acrobat
Preview on a Mac is great for signing, highlighting and reordering pages, but its text tool adds a new text box on top instead of changing the words underneath. To change the document's own text in its own font, use MythosPDF in Safari or Chrome.
Step by step
- 1Open mythospdf.com in Safari, Chrome or Firefox.
- 2Drag the PDF from Finder onto the upload box.
- 3Click any line, edit it, and press Enter to save.
- 4Press Export PDF in the top bar to download the edited file.
- 5Open the downloaded file in Preview to check it, like any other PDF.
