What people change in a quotation

Typing Arabic

Type with your own keyboard or input method. The editor accepts any Unicode text. Characters to check after editing: تحرير النص في ملف PDF.

Which font new Arabic text uses

First the font your PDF already uses for Arabic, even when only a few of its letters are embedded: MythosPDF loads the complete font and sets new letters in it. If the PDF has no Arabic font at all, it asks before adding an open Noto font for those letters, and tells you it did. Arabic is a shaped script, so each word is shaped with the full font before it is written, and the real letters are stored so the text stays searchable. Arabic is written right to left; the edited line keeps the direction of the text around it.

Questions people ask

+Can I turn a quotation into an invoice?

You can change the title and number, but check local rules for what an invoice must contain.

+Can I add a discount line?

Yes. Insert a row above the total and type it in.

+Can I write parts of the quotation in Arabic and parts in English?

Yes. Each language is set in the font the PDF uses for it, so a bilingual quotation keeps both fonts.
