Canva resume: add a bullet point to your resume

Add a new achievement under a job, with the same bullet, indent and spacing as the rest. This works on the PDF Canva exported. Each text box reflows inside its own box, and shapes behind the text are left alone.

How to do it

  1. 1.Drop the resume PDF from Canva into MythosPDF.
  2. 2.Press Add below and type the new achievement.
  3. 3.Press Enter to save, then Export PDF.

How Canva writes resume PDFs

  • • Designs are exported with subset fonts, many of them Google Fonts.
  • • Each text box is placed on its own, often line by line.
  • • Shapes, icons and photos are layered around the text.

What happens to the rest of your resume

  • • The new bullet copies the list's marker, hanging indent and line spacing.
  • • Everything below moves down to make room, and moves to the next page only if it has to.

Bullets drawn as shapes, common in online builders, are recognised and copied like text bullets.

+Is it better to edit in Canva?

If you still have the Canva version and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already sent, editing the PDF is faster.
