How to do it
- 1.Drop the resume PDF from Overleaf into MythosPDF.
- 2.Click the date and type the new one.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
How Overleaf writes resume PDFs
- • pdfTeX embeds Type1 fonts such as Computer Modern or Latin Modern.
- • Kerning and ligatures are written into each line.
- • Resume classes draw rules and align dates with precise spacing.
What happens to the rest of your resume
- • Right aligned dates grow to the left, so the column stays straight.
- • The date keeps its font and colour.
Questions people ask
+Can I write Present instead of an end date?
Yes. Type Present; letters not yet in the file come from the complete font, and for fonts that are not open you are asked first.
+Is it better to edit in Overleaf?
If you still have the Overleaf version and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already sent, editing the PDF is faster.
