Canva resume: combine your resume and cover letter
Send one PDF with your cover letter first and resume after. This works on the PDF Canva exported. Each text box reflows inside its own box, and shapes behind the text are left alone.
How to do it
- 1.Open Merge PDF.
- 2.Add the cover letter and the resume, in that order.
- 3.Download the combined PDF.
How Canva writes resume PDFs
- • Designs are exported with subset fonts, many of them Google Fonts.
- • Each text box is placed on its own, often line by line.
- • Shapes, icons and photos are layered around the text.
