How to do it
- 1.Open the PDF exported from LaTeX in MythosPDF.
- 2.Put the cursor where the new line starts and press Shift+Enter.
- 3.Type the line and press Enter, then Export PDF.
How LaTeX writes PDFs
- • pdfTeX embeds Type1 fonts such as Computer Modern.
- • Kerning and ligatures are written into each line.
- • Equations are built from many small pieces.
What that means when you add a line of text
- • Body text and headings edit well; kerning is preserved around your change. Equations are best changed in the source and recompiled.
- • LaTeX often uses fonts that are not freely available. Letters already in the PDF are reused exactly; for a letter it never used, MythosPDF asks before using the closest open font and tells you which one.
What happens to the rest of the page
- • New lines belong to existing text blocks and follow their style and spacing.
- • Text boxes on empty parts of the page are not supported.
