Edit a LibreOffice quotation PDF
Quotes change during a conversation. Update your own quotation PDF in place so it keeps your branding and layout, instead of retyping it. If it was made in LibreOffice, you can edit the PDF itself. LibreOffice's default fonts are open, and Liberation fonts have the same widths as Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, so edits match exactly.
How to do it
- 1.Open the quotation PDF exported from LibreOffice in MythosPDF.
- 2.Click the text you want to change and type.
- 3.Press Enter to save, then Export PDF.
What people change in a quotation
- • Quote number and date
- • Line item descriptions
- • Quantities and unit prices
- • Subtotal, tax and total
- • Validity period and terms
How LibreOffice writes PDFs
- • Export embeds subset fonts, often Liberation or DejaVu.
- • Paragraphs are written line by line.
Add and remove line items
Insert a row above or below any item, or delete an item's row. Borders and spacing follow the rest of the table.
Numbers are not recalculated
A PDF is a printed page, not a spreadsheet. Update the totals yourself after changing quantities or prices.
Questions people ask
