LaTeX resume: make text bold on your resume
Make a title, company or number stand out, or turn stray bold back to regular. This works on the PDF LaTeX exported. Small fixes to bullets, dates and links can be made in the PDF with kerning kept. Large rewrites are cleaner in the source.

How LaTeX writes resume PDFs
- • pdfTeX embeds Type1 fonts such as Computer Modern or Latin Modern.
- • Kerning and ligatures are written into each line.
- • Resume classes draw rules and align dates with precise spacing.
What happens to the rest of your resume
- • The real bold style of the same family is used when it exists.
- • If there is no bold style, MythosPDF asks before imitating one.
Questions people ask
+Should I bold numbers in bullets?
Sparingly. One bold figure per bullet draws the eye; more is noise.
+Is it better to edit in LaTeX?
If you still have the LaTeX version and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already sent, editing the PDF is faster.
