Change an email address in a newsletter PDF
Newsletters are built in columns, and a late correction shouldn't break them. Fix the typo, update the date or swap the photo and the columns stay as designed. Replace an email address and, if it is a link, where the link goes.

How to do it

- 2.Type the new address.
- 3.If it should be clickable, select it and press ⌘K or Ctrl+K to set the link, then Export PDF.
What people change in a newsletter
- • Issue date and number
- • Article text corrections
- • Photo swaps
- • Event listings
- • Links to sign up pages
What happens to the rest of the page
- • Linked text is shown in blue and underlined so readers can tell it is a link.
- • Long addresses push the rest of the contact row along instead of wrapping mid address.
Multi column text
Each column is edited on its own; a longer correction rewraps within its column.
Check before you send
Compare the corrected newsletter with the previous export to be sure only the intended text changed.
Questions people ask
+Will the old mailto link still work?
Update it with the link button so it points to the new address.
+Can I add an article?
Short additions fit with Shift+Enter; a full new article is better added in the design file.
