How Notion writes PDFs

  • • Notion exports through a browser engine.
  • • Its default fonts are open designs.

What that means when you change a website address

  • • Browser engine fonts are regrouped and identified, so new text matches.

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • The printed text and the clickable link are separate. Update both.
  • • Addresses are set in the same font as before.

Questions people ask

+Does the printed address have to match the link?

It should. Readers of a printed copy only see the text.

+Is it better to edit in Notion?

If you have the original Notion file and a lot to change, yes. For quick changes to the PDF itself, editing the PDF is faster and keeps it exactly as sent.
