Change a currency symbol in a quotation PDF

Quotes change during a conversation. Update your own quotation PDF in place so it keeps your branding and layout, instead of retyping it. Switch prices from one currency symbol to another, such as $ to €, £ or ₹.

How to do it

  1. 1.Drop your PDF into MythosPDF and click the text you want to change.
  2. 2.Replace the symbol in each price.
  3. 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.

What people change in a quotation

  • • Quote number and date
  • • Line item descriptions
  • • Quantities and unit prices
  • • Subtotal, tax and total
  • • Validity period and terms

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • If the PDF never used the new symbol, MythosPDF loads the complete font so it matches.
  • • If the font has no such symbol at all, it asks before using the closest font that has it.

Add and remove line items

Insert a row above or below any item, or delete an item's row. Borders and spacing follow the rest of the table.

Numbers are not recalculated

A PDF is a printed page, not a spreadsheet. Update the totals yourself after changing quantities or prices.

Questions people ask

+Why might the ₹ symbol need another font?

Older fonts were made before the symbol existed. MythosPDF tells you before using a font that has it.

+Can I turn a quotation into an invoice?

You can change the title and number, but check local rules for what an invoice must contain.
