Delete text in a quotation PDF

Quotes change during a conversation. Update your own quotation PDF in place so it keeps your branding and layout, instead of retyping it. Remove words, lines or a whole paragraph and close the gap they leave behind.

What people change in a quotation

  • • Quote number and date
  • • Line item descriptions
  • • Quantities and unit prices
  • • Subtotal, tax and total
  • • Validity period and terms

What happens to the rest of the page

  • • The text is truly removed from the file, not covered with a white box.
  • • Deleting a paragraph pulls the content below it up by the space it used.

Add and remove line items

Insert a row above or below any item, or delete an item's row. Borders and spacing follow the rest of the table.

Numbers are not recalculated

A PDF is a printed page, not a spreadsheet. Update the totals yourself after changing quantities or prices.

Questions people ask

+Is deleted text really gone?

Yes. The characters are removed from the page, so they cannot be copied or searched afterwards.

+Can I turn a quotation into an invoice?

You can change the title and number, but check local rules for what an invoice must contain.
