Apple Pages resume: fix a typo on your resume
One misspelled word can cost an interview. Fix it in the PDF without touching anything else. This works on the PDF Apple Pages exported. Letters already in the resume are reused exactly; for a new letter in an Apple font, you choose whether to use a close open font.

How to do it
- 1.Drop the resume PDF from Apple Pages into MythosPDF.
- 2.Put the cursor on the wrong letter, delete it and type the right one.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
How Apple Pages writes resume PDFs
- • Export uses the macOS PDF engine with subset fonts.
- • Some subsets use custom character codes described only by their text map.
- • Fonts are often Apple system fonts.
What happens to the rest of your resume
- • Only the words you touch are rewritten; the rest of the line keeps its exact spacing.
- • If the right letter was never used in the file, the complete font is loaded so it matches.
Questions people ask
+Will anyone see that the resume was edited?
No. The corrected word is set in the resume's own font at the same position.
+Is it better to edit in Apple Pages?
If you still have the Apple Pages version and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already sent, editing the PDF is faster.
