Apple Pages resume: update your job title
Got promoted or want your title to match the job you are applying for? Change it right in the PDF. This works on the PDF Apple Pages exported. Letters already in the resume are reused exactly; for a new letter in an Apple font, you choose whether to use a close open font.

How to do it
- 1.Drop the resume PDF from Apple Pages into MythosPDF.
- 2.Select the old title and type the new one.
- 3.Press Enter to save the line, then Export PDF.
How Apple Pages writes resume PDFs
- • Export uses the macOS PDF engine with subset fonts.
- • Some subsets use custom character codes described only by their text map.
- • Fonts are often Apple system fonts.
What happens to the rest of your resume
- • The title keeps its bold or colour, so it still stands out.
- • The date on the same line stays where it is.
Questions people ask
+Can I change the title on one job only?
Yes. Each line is edited on its own.
+Is it better to edit in Apple Pages?
If you still have the Apple Pages version and a lot to change, yes. For a quick fix to the PDF you already sent, editing the PDF is faster.
